Job Requirements::

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field is required.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in PR, Social Media or Influencer Marketing in a consumer products or similar field is required; photography industry experience is preferred.

  • Must have high level proficiency of all social media platforms and monitoring tools.

  • Proven ability to craft social media strategies and report results with testing and metrics is essential.

  • Knowledge of SEO practices to amplify content and achieve goals is necessary.

  • Strong photographic background is preferred.

  • Technical understanding of Olympus cameras and competitive products is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and presentation are necessary.

  • Must be a natural relationship builder.

  • Must possess strong project management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to take initiative in a challenging, fast-paced environment of multiple priorities.

  • Must be strategic thinker with creative prowess.

  • Ability to uncover emerging trends and influential talent across verticals is preferred.

  • Must have a good handle on current trending influencers and pop culture.

  • Computer proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop and other digital imaging-related software is necessary.

  • Agency experience is a plus.

  • Must be able to travel, up to 20%.

Job Duties::

  • Create overall strategy for social media and influencer marketing.

  • Manage all social media initiatives to enhance the brand, build our communities and promote our products, promotions and ultimately help drive sales.

  • Prioritize efforts on managed platforms and works to ensure adequate and appropriate content is shared in a timely fashion.

  • Establish KPIs and provides monthly and quarterly reporting on results.

  • Build and maintains database of effective influencers based on product targets and niche market strategies.

  • Create and support product-specific influencer programs that align with overarching marketing strategy to drive awareness, acquisition and retention in key markets by leveraging the influencers’ audiences and voice/reach.

  • Provide industry benchmarking and conducts research on competitors and industry leaders in social media and influencer marketing.

  • Partner with other BCs to amplify messages on global platforms.

  • Identify new and emerging social influencers; vets potential partners to ensure they are the right fit for our brand.

  • Manage all aspects of the influencer loaner programs, tracking all loaner and/or free goods products.

  • Identify ongoing opportunities to engage with influencers.

  • Handle influencer queries, complaints and product testimonials, responding quickly and sharing appropriately.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

Center Valley, PA - The Social Media and Influencer Manager will create and implement a robust social media and influencer marketing strategy in accordance with overall business objectives. The incumbent will serve as an internal expert maintaining familiarity with the ever-changing social media and influencer landscape. While leveraging the talent and reach of influencer participants across owned and paid media platforms, they will develop marketing programs that help build the Olympus community. He/She will manage a social media agency, serving as the main point of contact to drive direction, content, and performance reporting. The incumbent will lead the implementation and amplification of all content created by working closely with the advertising team. Finally, he/she will support all daily Influencer relations activities, such as asset management, technical support and evaluating feedback.
