Automation Technician

Location: West Hazelton, PA

Duration: possible temp to perm


Associates in Electrical Engineering Technology and/or ISA Certification preferred. Experience in troubleshooting and programming Rockwell automation systems including Allen Bradley PLCs, GUIs and network based topologies. Experience with Wonderware including Intouch GUI preferred. Ability to interpret programming languages in Ladder, FBD and VB scripting. Experience with high voltage power distribution, basic motor controls, VFDs, process loop instrumentation and analog/digital valve controls. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot process control including PID instrumentation loops. Experience with servo motion control including Allen Bradley, Schneider Electric and Fanuc 3-5 years of experience in a technical support or engineering role within a manufacturing environment Flexibility to work overtime and on other shifts as needed Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication and leadership skills


The person would be responsible for PLC programming, troubleshooting, VFDs, servo motion controls, etc.
