Customer Service & Logistics
Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) is where you’ll integrate our end-to-end demand-driven supply chain. Working “from farm to shelf,” you’ll connect plants with customers to deliver best-in-class service in the most efficient way. Your goal will be to have the right products, at the right time, and with the right quantity and quality on the shelf.
As part of the Wilkes-Barre Operations team, the Routing Team Lead is responsible for the routing of 3500 trucks per
week, processing over 35,000 orders a week, and providing field operations support to Area Logistics for the $5.0B GR US DSD business. Ensuring the use of best practices in our routing platform called Route Planner. Changing the way we operate, business processes, and communication with our field stakeholders. Providing issue resolution and communications between all Customer Service Ops Groups in relation to DSD and to a lesser extent, Warehouse operations. Shared accountability for 15 production routers and 4 Routing Capabilities Analysts.
• Develop and monitor standard operating procedures used to resolve issues within daily DSD operations
• Plan, prioritize and delegate work tasks, work with direct reports during their work shift once a month (nights)
• Hiring and staffing
• Coaching and development of direct reports
• Manage team schedules to ensure business needs are met
• Leveraged as a subject matter expert within the DSD space
• Communicate with external field partners
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
FUNCTIONAL/ TECHNICAL Competencies:
Supervisory experience preferred.
2+ years of operations experience in distribution or fulfillment
Must have the ability to work night shift 1 week a month, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word) applications
Proficiency in SAP
Good written and verbal skills
Experience in Customer Service
Ability to work in team environment
Good organizational skills
